Since 2008 several researches were developed on the architectural production in the 20 th. century in the former Portuguese colonies, attaining in two major research projects:

• The Colonial Urbanization Offices:  Architectural Culture and Practice

• Homes for the Biggest Number:  Lisbon, Luanda, Macao

Within these researches, a set of results is presented, by the involved researchers, as well as the International Conference Optimistic Suburbia (May 2015).
